Halloumi and chickpea burger recipe
Put the following ingredients into a food processor and whizz until broken down but still with texture:
Two tins of chickpeas (drained)
1 pack of halloumi
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
2 garlic cloves
Half a bunch of spring onions
A handful of coriander leaves
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp salt
Form into six large burgers or 12 sliders.
Cook in frying pan (for about 3 mins on each side) or in an oven for around 20 minutes.
